AppLogic 2.7/2.8 Documentation The latest production release is AppLogic 3.0.30
Windows WISA/WISAx4 Installation Reference
The AppLogic 2.7.x+ distro includes these reference template applications:
-
WISA_rX: simple web application based on IIS/SQL/ASP.NET
-
WISAx4_rX: scalable web application based on IIS/SQL/ASP.NET
These applications include references to the catalog class appliances /system_ms:IIS03E and /system_ms:SQL08X. Please create these appliances prior to instantiating either WISA template application. Detailed instructions are available here:
WISAx4_rX also includes a reference to /system_ms:IIS03Ex4 which is available in the system_ms catalog distributed with the AppLogic release. Import the system_ms catalog from your AppLogic 2.7.x+ distro (you must be a grid maintainer in order to do this): "./aldo ci grid=mygrid catalogs=system_ms"
-
Note that the system_ms catalog contains the IIS03yx4/IIS03yx8 assemblies which contain references to the /system_ms:IIS03y appliances. The application editor will display an error message every time an application is opened as long as any one of the /system_ms:IIS03y appliances are missing. To resolve this issue, either create all of the /system_ms:IIS03y appliances or remove the unused IIS03yx4/IIS03yx8 appliances from the system_ms catalog.
To install the WISA template applications (you must be a grid maintainer in order to do this):
- Import the
WISA_rX application from your AppLogic 2.7.x+ distro: "./aldo ai grid=mygrid applications=WISA_rX"
- Import the
WISAx4_rX application from your AppLogic 2.7.x+ distro: "./aldo ai grid=mygrid applications=WISAx4_rX"
