3tera Created Windows Appliances

If you are using Windows appliances created and supplied by 3tera, please note:

• The boot volumes of these appliances have a small amount of free disk spac. If you resize a boot volume to be smaller, the appliance may fail to boot.
• The Windows appliances supplied with AppLogic have these optional Windows components installed:
  • Application Server -- ASP.NET and IIS (installed by default on WIN03W)
  • E-mail Services (POP3 SMTP)l
  • Management and Monitoring Tools
  • Networking Services
  • Security Config Wizard
  • Windows Deployment Services (not on WIN03W)
  • Windows Media Services (not on WIN03W)
• Please uninstall any of these optional components as desired.
