Appliance Graphical Console
Overview
This topic provides a basic description of the AppLogic Graphical Console. The graphical console provides access to an appliance's graphical user interface (e.g., Windows desktop) with keyboard and mouse support.
The graphical console is accessed by selecting an appliance and selecting
login (graphical) from the
Appliance drop-down menu (or from the toolbar). Note, this option is only available when the appliance is running and the appliance supports a graphical console (as specified in its
class console string).
The graphical console support is based upon the UltraVNC Java viewer and is released as Open Source under GPL.

The graphical console requires the latest version of Java in your IE/FF browser. 3tera has tested with Java version 6 update 7 on IE/FF. If the latest version of Java is not used, the graphical console may not work correctly (it will hang while trying to load). Before reporting graphical console errors to 3tera, be sure to check that you are using the latest Java version (if you need to upgrade java in your browser, be sure to re-open your browser afterwards in order for the graphical console to work correctly).

The graphical console is only supported for Hardware Emulation appliances (HVM).
