AppLogic 2.4 Documentation The latest production release is AppLogic 3.0.30
SLA - Release Notes
Version 1.0.2-1
Intro
SLA stops and starts appliances within the application in response to varying performance and resource data provided by the MON appliance.
Changes
- v.1.0.2-1 changes since v.1.0.0-1
- changed php.ini not to log notices
- changed the graph to normalize requested pixel widths such that the number of counter values per pixel is always an exact integer (at 3840 px wide, there was a fractional error causing the graph to skew slightly from the scale)
- changed existing sanity check to delete the policy (not just raise an error) if there is a mismatch between the appliances listed in the policy and the appliances found in the application. This is necessary in case a user manually adds to or removes appliances from the appliance group while the application is stopped. A dashboard message is also created advising the user to re-define the policy.
- re-sized the /usr volume
- Changed the .png in the header of the GUI to display "SLA"
- changed dashboard message generation not to repeat messages:
- If counter collection fails for > 1 minute, a message is created. It is not created again in the same circumstance until in the interim counter collection has succeeded.
- If all appliances in the group are running but start_condition is true, a message is created. It is not created again in the same circumstance until in the interim not all appliances are running.
- If all appliances in the group are stopped, a message is created. It is not created again in the same circumstance until in the interim not all appliances are stopped.
