MYSQL5: MySQL 5.0 Database Appliance - Build Procedure

The build procedure for MYSQL5 is the same as the build procedure for MYSQL, except for the following differences:

1. Create an application with only LUX5 and NET in it; configure the NET appliance
2. Edit the class (in EDT)
   1. change the class name to MYSQL5
   2. Add the following additional property:
      • use_old_passwords| Int| Default 1| allowed values 1,0
   3. Add /etc/my.cnf to the configuration files tab (volume: boot; qte method: none)
3. Copy the following files in MYSQL5
   1. /etc/my.cnf
   2. /etc/ccad.conf
   3. /etc/fstab
   4. /appliance/create_db.sh
   5. /appliance/db_permck.sh
   6. /appliance/feed_mysql_counters.sh
   7. /appliance/start_mysqld.pl
   8. /appliance/appliance.sh
4. Vol resize
   1. vol resize MYSQL5.boot size=120M
   2. vol resize MYSQL5.usr size=180M
