Functional Overview
This application works in conjuction with the
MIG appliance to enable applications to migrate and snapshot themelves from grid to grid.

The MigHelper application is provisioned by the MIG appliance and is not intended to be provisioned or configured manually, either by regular users or maintainers.
Boundary
Properties
These properties are set by the MIG appliance during application provisioning.

in_ip | IP | IP address which provides monitoring services to the web interface of the MIG appliance. This property is mandatory |
out_ip | IP | IP address for the external interface used to access grid controllers. This property is mandatory. |
netmask | IP | Netmask for the network on which in_ip and out_ip reside. Default: 255.255.255.0 |
gateway | IP | Address of IP gateway used to route traffic. This property must be specified in order to access grid controllers outside of the IP network on which MigHelper is running (i.e., most cases). This property is mandatory. |
env | String | Reserved for use by MIG and MigHelper. |

User Volumes
The application uses one volume, described
below. It is part of the application and is already configured into an appliance instance. There are no volumes that need to be configured on the application boundary.
Application Volumes
The MigHelper application has the following volume:

content | File system containing scripts, logs and web interface. This volume is configured as the data volume of the data NAS appliance. This volume should not be modified by any user. |

MigHelper has the following components:
- one firewalled input gateway
- one web server
- one content file server
- one firewalled network output gateway
